This image is from our recent road trip to the Olympic Peninsula and Second Beach located along the coast in Washington State. The early rising sun and receding mid-tide created great opportunities for unique tide pool compositions. Thank you for viewing, voting and/or any constructive comments!

This was our last sunset attempt at Bandon, Oregon coast (Wizard's Hat) on our most recent road trip. Though things didn't look too promising at first (looked like nothing but bald sky), the wind shifted dramatically and we were able to snap a few frames as the fast moving clouds rolled in. The title is in reference to the old (1970's) cartoon featuring "Mr. Wizard" . This scene/rock at Bandon looks very much like the Wizard's hat that he wore. Mr Wizard's most most famous line in the show was "Drizzle, Drazzle, Dradle, Drone time for this one to come home". Thank you for viewing, voting and/or any constructive comments!

Point Atkinson Lighthouse was built on top of some huge granite boulders that jut out into Burrard Inlet in West Vancouver, Canada. We were thrilled to get some pretty awesome sunset clouds after our long drive up north! Thank you for viewing, voting and/ or any constructive comments!

We spent a night near the Marin Headlands (Mill Valley/Sausalito) during our Christmas raodtrip to California. Got a decent sunset at Rodeo Beach (though pretty rough wave action)...hope you enjoy! Thank you for viewing, voting and/or any constructive comments!

On our trip through California I was only able to work in one sunset opportunity at Keyhole Arch on Big Sur's Pfeiffer Beach. Though conditions weren't the greatest I was lucky to get a few seconds of sunset glow. Clouds on the horizon blocked the full effect of the sun. but I was still happy with the results given this was my first attempt. Good news is I'll be back there next year during/near the winter solstice to try again! Thank you for viewing, voting and/or any constructive comments!

Caught some nice water action and sky on my first visit to Rodeo Beach...can't wait to get back when I have a bit more time to spend. Thank you for viewing, voting and/or any constructive comments. *My apologies to those of you who may have already seen this one, decided to repost as 500px was down most of the day yesterday?
